We should all know by now that ABC.Z is debuting in 2012 on a DVD. It's a first for Johnny's to debut on a dvd I think but ABC.Z are the Acrobatics Boys Club (Z?) random Z there but yeah they are pretty good at it too. There strong points are their live performances esp with all the musicals that they've done since they were formed. My two favs from the group are Goseki and Kawai :D they're just so funny.
:O and if you haven't seen the 9/12 episode of Shokura you better go find it for a great performance of Moonlight by non other than the next JE golden boy Yamada Ryousuke (yes i spell it with the u) and yep I won't spoil it for you.
er, what else... let's see. NYC are releasing a new single called Wonderful Cupid (it's like something you'd hear from Anne of Green Gables), JUMP has winter tour dates all set up.... Yamada and Yuuto are both in a drama with Fujigaya (KISMAI) about a boy (Yama) with a mother complex. Chinen is staring as Yamapi's younger brother in a drama about taking over a family's funeral business. Jin's new single SEASONS has an adorable lil girl playing his daughter while Jin finally stops wearing a hat and glasses for a couple minutes....
er... Daiki has a 7 hour special New Years drama coming up too... So does Yamada. They both look great in traditional clothing just saying :P

I'm sure that it isn't a surprise for a lot of people as i have already seen many people claim to have downloaded it though it is still just a newbie app.
tada~ yes it IS the official Johnny's app and it contains free content as well as Johnny's Fan Club only content. It is available worldwide for anyone who has a smart phone/ android versions 2.1 and up. Sadly i do not own one due to my poor student income aka $0! yeah... so all i have to go on are the reports from other fans
at the moment it is still in its early stages so i am not sure how well it works... these are a few screen caps that show you can access artists information and blogs aka those that are part of the JFC. from what i hear it is mostly about information... the same as if you go to but as i said it's still fairly new so we shall have to wait and see.
As far as i know everything on there is pretty much in Japanese so if you can't read it then you'll have to do the guess and click like usual. If there is a language change on it...hmmmn... i don't think it's been made yet. Johnny's net (http://www.johnnys-net.jp/)would have to be the first to have that and well honestly if it is a language change function it would pretty much look like what you'd get if you google translate Johnny's net too... it just doesn't work
on another note I have been sort of navigating my way through Johnny's net and well i haven't been on in almost two weeks and surprise surprise they changed the Tacky Channel layout so now you can click on MORE things like the cute little animations that will do another movement for you or the spheres that are orbiting the giant well one the screen , television :D

hmmn... oh KISMAI have debuted! well yesterday they did so let's all celebrate by going out to buy their singles... i will not post their single or their pv because well... i'm lazy to and i think their first one has been shared already on most of the fansites out there... BEFORE their debut... and well i'm okay with that but couldn't people wait till after their official debut.
HSJ as 9 are still doing SUMMARY and the footage shows that they have leveled up and kept the doggies. plus added a cute little shadow boxing kid... though no Ryutaro. The rumors going around say he will be making a "fresh" beginning and in the world of Johnny's the definition of that is still unknown until they come out with an official press release... until then i hope Ryutaro will stay in HSJ even if he's been forever condemned to staying at the back of the whole group.. at least he'd be there and i think Keito is missing his other half too. Yabu and the gang officially apologized in SUMMARY and well other than that i have no other news on SUMMARY. HSJ's new single is also to be released this September for YamaChii's voice dub of The Smurf movie

Jin is also back in Japan now that the filming of 47 Ronin has been completed. the release dates are around the 21st of November... 2012... so yes over a year to go before they release the movie and there's a whole bunch of bad rumors going round about how Jin's going to be cut but if that were to happen i hope they are ready for some intense fangirling from the Jindom... we've all seen it before... it's not very pretty.

So first up JE
Jin's movie (well not his but I'm only interested in him :P) has entered the final stages of filming with only a couple months of it to go (if it all goes to schedule.) Or at least that is all i've heard. No sources because this is old news that's pretty much floating in all the Jin communities. So the 47Ronin crew will be moving from London to Japan at the end of this ... or next month to film the last bits in Japan. The official poster has been taken already (apparently) and Jin is in it.
On other Jin notes: Jin's mother's little business for doggies has reached the outer sphere thanks to Jin's little bro tweeting about it and his friend Ze... something i can't remember the name right of the top of my head. ... It seems now that the Akanishi's are on tweeter we get to hear more and more about them.

HSJ news: Ryutaro's suspension. Still there. Not going away and he is still in a very difficult situation since he's not much of a cash cow for JE to really need to protect no matter how much we fans love him. sigh. hoping he really will end up back in the group but when JE is concerned i have no idea.
HSJ as 9 will be doing the theme song for the Japanese dubbed version of The Smurf Movie where Chinen and Yamada play the smart and the clumsy Smurfs. I'll leave it to you fans out there to figure it out. It's not that hard when you know which little boy has been getting straight A's in his classes :/ oops gave it away.
The theme song will probably be like their more childish songs (more NYC) than there latest OVER. But that is still uncertain since i have nooo idea what it sounds like and won't until September (was that when it's gonna be released?)

Hikaru's drama Ikemen Desu Ne. Though is rather lacking... just because the plot was seen already int he Kversion I'm still looking forward to watching the rest as I just want to see what happens. The lead Tamamori(? i need to learn KISMAI's names soon -.-) resembles Jung Guen Suk in the eyebrow department XD yes ladies just there... since... well... I don't think he's as harsh looking when playing the role. And the lead girl whatshername ... yeah not really digging it. But still the first ep was aired last Friday the 15th so the rest of it is still unknown.
Which leads me to KISMAI (KIS MY FT2) YATTA~ the group finally gets to officially debut under AVEX and release their first single "Everybody Go" I've seen the PV (well part) and they still keep the skates and all else that makes them KISMAI :) oh and there tour already started on the 9th... oops for that too
KPOP news... Well apart from a whole bunch of Kpop groups trying to make it into the Japanese market not much to say. SHINEE's Japanese single was freaking lovely and Taemin's new style is making it hard to rank my fav's in the group again (though he was always near the top but sadly... to young ._____.)

Tokyo Girls style will be having their annual fashion show. This years show will be held with foods and drink that are specialties from the earthquake devastated areas.
Also Japan has beaten the USA in the FIFA? world cup ... is all i know slightly slow now -__-... gomen not a good news post but bare with me i haven't done this in a while

he is quite similar to Yuto though his face is rounder and well he's going into the entertainment industry. (it kinda feels like Jin and his little brother her for some strange reason). He is under AVEX not JE so his first thing is ACTING while Nii-chan does the music and other Idol like stuff

The 3D craze has led to many classics being revisited with the new technology, and the latest story up for a remake: “47 Ronin”. Universal Pictures has announced that Keanu Reeves has been cast in the lead role of the epic Japanese story. He will portray Kai, a wanderer that teams up with the warrior unit “47 Ronin” seeking to avenge the death of their master.
The popular tale is a story of revenge as the overlord who banished them now faces the wrath of a group of incredible warriors. In an attempt to honor their homeland, the “47 Ronin” endure incredible challenges on their path to redemption through the punishing of those that have stripped them of their mentor and honor.
The film will be directed by Carl Erik Rinsch who gained acclaim through his work on “The Gift”. Along-side Reeves, the movie will feature Kou Shibasaki, Tadanobu Asano and Rinko Kikuchi. The Universal picture will bring Keanu Reeves back into the limelight with his first feature film since “The Day the Earth Stood Still” in 2008.
Though there aren’t many details regarding where the movie will be shot, it’s certain that details will begin to surface in the near future. With the cast almost completely in place, count on the excitement to begin from this moment forward ------------------ MTV caught up with Reeves to talk about his upcoming project, 47 RONIN. We haven't received too many details on the film. Back in 2009, screenwriter Chris Morgan (WANTED) described the film as, "'Gladiator'-esque, '300'-like big action movie with samurai and ninja" then elaborated a bit more, "It’s a time in Japanese culture when it was all about [the] bushido [code] and honor, and putting internal things over external things -- swords that were made to be functional instead of ornamental, that kind of stuff. This turning point in the culture when that started to shift. Society started to be more about external kind of things. The story is about these samurai whose lord is killed in an unfair way."
The film has been a passion project years in the making for Reeves and director Carl Erik Rinsch (THE GIFT). Reeves gave his take on the plot, "Well, it's in 3D. It's a kind of western. I call it a story of revenge and impossible love. The samurai become outcast and decide to enact revenge on the person who is responsible for the death of their lord." Reeves plays a character called Kai who he describes as, "an outsider, a kind of half-breed with a mysterious past, who's in love with the princess and she's in love with me, but we can't be together. " The actor then adds this little tidbit at the end, "But during the course of events, during this kind of journey of revenge, things change."
Something else interesting to note, Reeves will be doing a sword fight with co-star Hiroyuki Sanada (THE LAST SAMURAI, SUNSHINE). Reeves recalled, "[I] just finished a sword fight a couple of weeks ago with a great actor named Hiroyuki Sanada. He's fantastic." --------------- Q: You've just filmed "47 Ronin" in Budapest. It's a major undertaking, right?
A: It's a famous story from Japan, based on something that happened in 1703. We're doing a reinterpretation or reinvention of the story. It's a fantastical, real (pause) Western, in a way. These samurai who become ronin (samurai without masters) seek to get revenge for their fallen lord. There are some celebrated versions of it, (particularly) "Chushingura" (the 1962 movie by Hiroshi Inagaki).
Q: A story in Variety said it's going to have "Lord of the Rings"-style fantasy elements. Is that right?
A: No, it's creating a world, but not as "Dungeons and Dragons" as that. And I don't mean that in a pejorative sense. "47 Ronin" is fantastical -- we have a witch, we have giants, mythical creatures. But the emotion and the drama are not fantastical.
Q: It's a pretty heavy story.
A: Yeah, I mean, we all commit suicide in the end. --------------- On Thursday, the official website for Carl Erik Rinsch’s upcoming big-budget Hollywood adaptation of 47 Ronin was updated with the announcement that actor and former KAT-TUN vocalist Jin Akanishi has been cast in the movie.
The announcement goes on to say that this will mark Akanishi’s Hollywood debut and touts his huge popularity with Japanese youth.
Akanishi will play Chikara Oishi, son Hiroyuki Sanada’s character Oishi and a sworn friend of Keanu Reeves’s character Kai.
He participated in an audition in Hollywood, where he showed extraordinary passion for the role through his sword fighting and horse riding training. Rinch heaped on the praise, stating that Akanishi is the only one who could play Chikara.

It was understood on the 13th that he would be acting in 47RONIN with Keanu Reeves (46) as the main lead. Akanishi, who has always had a strong desire to venture overseas went to the audition on his own accord, opening the door to the world. Akanishi used his own capabilities to capture this big chance. According to an insider, he went for the auditions himself last autumn. Though he was the main lead in "BANDAGE" (2010) but with just that, he is considered an unknown in Hollywood. my thoughts on the movie is: i hope they don't kill it. If anyone searched what the movie is about they'll know it's a powerful story... but then this is hollywood... not many asian meets western films have gotten into my good books when they are made. This being said i hope this job won't kill Jin' image (yes it is important as an artist he needs to maintain it. this is why most of them go insane) but you need to know most of the fans he has are young women. and that being said it's just so frustrating to see some of the shit that comes out of hollywood.
i miss Bakanishi but i hope Akanishi gets to fulfill his dreams of making it world wide. without being brought down by everything around him. I miss the stupidity he had in the older clips. sigh~ and he's only 26 so hopefully he won't want to grow up too fast (i know 26 but still how old was he when he started working :/)
yeah still wanna see the film but thinking about what will happen after

Nothing has been said on his twitter account so any word from Jin i don't know (but he did say he is working on something... not just his album)
maybe now we'll see a bigger progression of Jin in the media (hoping this will make buying his stuff easier) but as a picky fan like myself i have to say i wish he'd do some more rock ish songs like before. He has a great voice for it too~
but just with this i'm happy!!! and since Keano Reeves is in it (spelling his name right i don't know :P) this WILL make it to the bigscreen i'm sure, not like Bandage which was more like a movie in the indie film category (well in the west it is).

Yes asia does have the lolita thing going on but this is just what the hell -________- Lolita isn't about showing the body either so this makes it seem that these designers are really marketing to a certain group of people... and no children in beauty pageants should not be using padded bras either. the fake eyelashed 4 year olds are enough.
Abercrombie and Fitch is well-known for promoting highly sexualized clothes to teenagers, and for that reason, they're no stranger to controversy. But they drew even more fire than usual from parents last week when their "Ashley" bikini top was posted online. In the original product description, which has since been updated, the girls' swimsuit top was marketed as "padded" and a "push-up." The notion that young girls would need a padded bikini top before they were even in training bras was understandably offensive to parents and educators alike.
Gail Dines, a sociology professor, said that the top would encourage girls to think of themselves "in a sexual way" before they were ready. A blogger, Rebecca Odes, wrote on Babble, "Playing at sexy is an inevitable and important part of growing up. But there's a difference between exploring these ideas on your own and having them sold to you in a children's catalog."
The problem comes when girls are taught, through products like these, that to be sexy, they have to alter their bodies. The product does also objectify young girls in a more disturbing way than a padded bikini top for adult women, although this still sends problematic messages about the norms to which women's bodies are expected to conform. What seems distressing, also, is that the company hasn't learned from past mistakes - Abercrombie was accused of sexualizing young girls back in 2002 when it marketed a line of thong underwear in children's sizes with "eye candy" and "wink wink" printed on the front.
Abercrombie has since toned down its product description, and its swift response is, in some ways, heartening. It shows that parent protests can have an impact on big corporations, which emphasizes the need for more bursts of outrage over offensive products. The question, of course, is whether they'll do it again - after all, they don't have a good track record.
Whose seen this? actually i just found it today after doing some Feminist study something in my Lit class and i have to say i am really confused to who these people are who design children's clothes these days. Like really do we need padded bras for 8 year olds? okay so some DO have boobs... but well does it have to be like this? you can sell the padded things. but do you have to make it out like it's the next must have item for young girls? don't make it something girls would want. Ask the average teenage girl and there will be those who will say they love their boobs. and there will be others who will tell you that they really just get in the way. Let little kids play without having to think about getting boobs ==
the thong thing was bad enough but what the hell? i don't know maybe i'm just old fashioned but i strongly disapprove of this.
